The Adidas Rod Laver tennis shoes have been reinvented again! An awesome shoe for footbag freestyle, the Lavers are constructed of the signature breathable mesh upper, which provides excellent ventilation and flexibility as well as maximum comfort. They come with the original suede toe, a lightweight PU midsole, and rubber outsole. Styled with a square toe box, the Rod Laver is the shoe of choice for the sport of footbag.
For all you nerds with a long time Laver history PLEASE NOTE: As of January 2017 the Lavers are now made in Vietnam, and the overall weight of the shoe (time to rejoice) has dropped back down. Not all the way to “China” levels but more than halfway. We think it’s a good compromise for performance and durability. Here is the weight comparison by country: Current pair of “made in Vietnam” size 8.5 is 26 oz. Previous “made in Indonesia” version was 31 oz.
* Available in men’s sizes only. Adidas Rod Lavers are only available in “D” (medium) width.
