We got our hands on a VERY limited supply of “made in Indonesia” Lavers! (Unfortunately we have no direct knowledge of whether or not Adidas will begin manufacturing the Lavers again).
For all you nerds with a long time Laver history PLEASE NOTE: These are the 2014 version of Lavers, were made in Indonesia, and the sole is heavy. The dense rubber sole has much more grip on the typical gym floor surface, and they are more durable than previous versions, but noticeably heavier. Here is the weight comparison: in stock pair of “made in Indonesia” size 9.5 is 35 oz. The more recent “made in Vietnam” models weighed 29 oz, and the good old “made in China” versions weighed 24 oz.
An awesome shoe for footbag freestyle, the Lavers are constructed of the signature breathable mesh upper, which provides excellent ventilation and flexibility as well as maximum comfort. They come with the original suede toe, a lightweight PU midsole, and rubber outsole. Styled with a square toe box, the Rod Laver is the shoe of choice for the sport of footbag.

Classic tennis shoe, super light, great shape for my current skill level. Toe stalls, side stalls, and general out of control saves. Sometimes we have up to seven people in the circle after work and two of us have these shoes. Two thumbs up from Greg and Miles.
