This 1978 two-panel Hacky Sack footbag comes from the original production stock handmade in Haiti for the National Hacky Sack Company. This ancient beauty is made of quality cowhide leather in the copper/tan color combination.
Each footbag is hand signed by the co-inventor of the Hacky Sack footbag, "Mr. Hacky Sack" John Stalberger. A rare find, made even more special by the personal signature of the man himself. No “true” collection is complete without a "Haitian Hacky".
A portion of the sale from each 1978 two-panel Hacky Sack footbag helps to fund the Footbag Hall of Fame Historical Society, the organization that recognizes the accomplishments of our sports pioneers, promoters and outstanding players. |

| This 1978 two-panel Hacky Sack footbag was also made in Haiti, however it never made it to the retail shelves. This rare and very unusual beige/tan color combination was produced as an experimental run. Affectionately referred to as “Blondie”, less than 100 pieces of this Haitian bombshell exist.
Like the “original” each footbag is hand signed by "Mr. Hacky Sack" John
Stalberger and is in mint condition. This one is definitely for the serious collector with flare for the extravagant. Blondie is so limited, it’s on a "first come first serve" “Snooze ya Loose” availability basis.

This 1984 Hacky Sack model was the first mass-produced multi-paneled footbag in the world. The 8-panel Jammer was handmade of cowhide leather and packed tight for quick touch. Manufactured by Wham-O, Inc. in Taiwan from 1984 to 1992, the Jammers’ first production run was created utilizing a wider seven hole per side stitching pattern. In 1985 they would switch to a 12 hole stitch system that would later prove to be inferior.
This item is in it’s original blister carded package, in pristine condition,
and ready for mounting on the mantel.

| Marketed and produced by Kenncorp Sports from 1981 to 1983, this 1981 Hacky
Sack two-panel footbag is handmade of quality cowhide leather. Kenncorp
Sports was the third company to latch on to the manufacturing rights for the
Hacky Sack brand name. Taiwan became the second country to produce the
worlds first footbag. There’s a perfect 1-2-3 punch reason for purchasing
this true collectors piece still in its original packaging.

| In the Philippines the words Sipa Sipa mean “kick, kick”, but in the U.S. it
means quality, crocheted footbag. Sipa Sipa was the first crocheted footbag
to hit the market, and they are still the finest of all crochet brands. In
1980 these footbags were sold under the name of Granny Sacks because they
were actually hand crocheted by grandmother’s in senior citizen centers.
Produced in the Philippines for Sipa Sipa Sacks in Laguna Beach, California
this rayon thread, large bead crochet classic gave Hacky Sack their first
taste of manufacturing competition. This rare collectors piece was only
made for a two year period with the name Sipa Sipa crocheted into the
footbag. Mounted in the second generation poly bag packaging this Sipa Sipa
is a must for the fanatic collector.

This Sipa Sipa model comes from the first stage production of orange and
black footbags handmade in the Philippines. The orange with black stripe
color combination was a signature for Sipa Sipa footbags for nearly four
years. Like a crown jewel this Sipa Sipa is cradled in the original clear
plastic counter display packaging. This style of packaging was used for
only two years by Nara Lila, Inc. in Laguna Beach, California predecessor to
the Sipa Sipa Sacks Company.

| The Hacky Sack Kicker footbag was produced by Wham-O, Inc. from 1984 to 1992 in Taiwan. Utilizing the classic and original two-panel design the Kicker was the first footbag ever made of vinyl. The Kicker models were known for their very distinct fluorescent color combinations. This limited edition MTV Kicker footbag was created for a special “Spring Break” promotion in 1985 which took place in San Diego, California, Daytona Beach, Florida and Vail, Colorado. Only 5,000 were produced in the snappy blue and yellow color combination and silk screened with the Music Television logo. A collectors piece that truly “Rocks On”.

The Balywik two-panel footbag was produced in the United States by Jarrett
Enterprises for only one year from 1983 to 1984. This deerskin leather
model was the first mass-produced footbag to challenge the strength of the
patented two-panel Hacky Sack. It’s short life span was attributed to being
a blatant design knock-off, and the fact that it contained 100% natural
barley filler which was ravaged by mice when left unattended and sprouted
if it ever got wet. The Balywik name would later be sold to soccer giant,
Brine, and new, non-infringing, “plastic pellet” filled Balywik models would
be introduced.

| The Norstar footbag was unquestionably the most impressive launch and
collapse of any manufacturing company to date. Produced by New World Leather
Works in Portland, Oregon, the four-panel, cowhide Norstar footbag was
neatly packaged in a unique, heavy card stock sling of a package. New World
Leather Works invested thousands of dollars in packaging and marketing for
their monumental eight month run at footbag stardom. Packaging included one
World Footbag Association Players’ manual and membership application.
